Welcome to Desiree’s Place — A Safe, Supportive Group Home for Sober & Independent Living

Founded in 2023, Desiree’s Place is a non-medical supportive independent living residence providing stable, structured housing for adults living outside the family home, including individuals participating in structured placements or referral-based requirements.
The residence serves adults seeking stability and independence following mental health and/or substance use recovery. Desiree’s Place provides residential oversight and peer-based support only and does not offer medical, clinical, or therapeutic services.
Desiree’s Place ILF, Inc. has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and is currently awaiting IRS determination. Donations may be retroactively tax-deductible upon approval.

Desiree’s Place offers peer-based support and independent living skills development in a safe, clean, compassionate, and family-oriented residential environment. Trained support staff provide supervision, guidance, and residential oversight while encouraging personal accountability and goal achievement. Services include:
Residents are responsible for providing their own food. For safety and program structure, meals are prepared and cooked by staff, and residents do not have access to meal-preparation or kitchen areas. Meal preparation does not include medical nutrition therapy, dietary counseling, or therapeutic meal services. Residents are supported in the self-administration of their own medications, with no medical or clinical services provided.
We do not provide medical care, nursing services, clinical treatment, mental health therapy, substance use treatment, medication administration, medication storage, or hands-on personal care services.
Our staff does not diagnose conditions, provide therapy or counseling, administer medications, monitor medication compliance, or deliver clinical or behavioral interventions.

Desiree’s Place is supported by trained staff who provide structured oversight and supportive services that promote safety, stability, and personal growth within a clean, welcoming, and family-oriented residential environment. Our team works collaboratively to foster accountability, consistency, and a nurturing atmosphere that supports residents as they work toward independence and long-term stability.
Desiree’s Place is not licensed or operated as a hospital, treatment facility, assisted living facility, home health agency, or behavioral health provider. All medical, counseling, psychiatric, and MAT services are provided by external, licensed providers.
Participation in outside services is voluntary, self-directed, and coordinated independently of Desiree’s Place.
Tours are available by appointment for individuals and referral partners seeking information about housing availability, program expectations, and daily living at Desiree’s Place.
