Live-In House Manager

Role Overview
The Live-In House Manager provides on-site operational oversight and residential support services in accordance with Desiree’s Place policies. This contractor role focuses on maintaining structure, safety, accountability, and compliance within the home.
Scope of Services
- Provide on-site presence and oversight of daily household operations
- Monitor compliance with house rules, curfews, and visitation policies
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and order
- Maintain required house logs, incident documentation, and reports
- Coordinate household needs, including meal planning and supplies
- Enforce zero-tolerance policies related to violence, drugs, alcohol, and contraband
- Communicate concerns, incidents, and updates to leadership
- Assist with resident orientations, move-ins, and discharges
- Serve as the primary on-site contact during assigned hours
Qualifications
- Experience in group homes, sober living, or residential environments preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Background check required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Peer Support Specialist
Engagement Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Role Overview
The Peer Support Specialist provides non-clinical, peer-based support services through lived experience, encouragement, and accountability. This role does not involve therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment.
Scope of Services
- Provide peer-to-peer support and encouragement
- Facilitate or assist with peer support and life-skills activities
- Serve as a positive role model for recovery and independent living
- Support residents with goal setting and personal development
- Monitor participation and engagement
- Maintain required documentation and participation logs
- Report concerns or incidents to leadership
- Reinforce program guidelines and expectations
Qualifications
- Peer Support certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Lived experience in recovery or independent living preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Background check required
Housekeeper
Engagement Type: Part-Time Contract
Role Overview
A part-time housekeeper will provide contracted housekeeping services to maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety across two residential homes.
Scope of Services
- Clean common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash
- Refill basic cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
- Follow agreed-upon cleaning schedules and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently
